Roads update

Deptford
There will be restrictions in place on A2 Deptford Bridge between Deptford Church Street and Deal’s Gateway until January 2016. This is to facilitate junction improvement works.

Wandsworth Common
From Monday 29 June until late September, A214 Trinity Road will be closed southbound between Bellevue Road and St. James’s Drive. This is due to gas mains replacement and footpath renewal works, on behalf of the London Borough of Wandsworth.

Colliers Wood
Three-way temporary signals will be in place until September at the junction of A24 High Street and Merton High Street. This is due to local improvement work, on behalf of the London Borough of Merton.

Road users may be affected by the following this weekend:

Wimbledon
From Monday until 12 July, traffic is likely to be busy in Southfields, Wimbledon Village and town centre. Parking restrictions will also be in place. This is due to the Wimbledon tennis championships. For full details, please click here

Central London
On Friday 26 June from 22:30 until 23:15, Park Lane will be closed in both directions between Marble Arch and Hyde Park Corner. This is due to an event.

Westminster
On Saturday 27 June, various roads will be closed from different times, as a result of a parade. These are: Pall Mall East from 06:00; Baker Street from 09:00; Orchard Street, Oxford Street and Regent Street from 11:00; Shaftesbury Avenue, Trafalgar Square and Whitehall from 12:00. Taxi driver information

Battersea
On Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 June between 16:00 and 20:00, there will be a marshalled taxi rank in Battersea Park due to a sporting event. Access will be via the Chelsea Gate at north eastern corner of the park. Taxis can also drop off passengers in the park at the same location.

Finsbury Park
On Sunday 28 June between 21:30 and 23:00, Seven Sisters Road will be closed between Hornsey Road and Green Lanes, and Stroud Green Road will be closed between Seven Sisters Road and Tollington Park/Upper Tollington Park due to an event. The taxi rank at Finsbury Park station will be closed during this time but there will be a temporary taxi rank at bus stop C on Green Lanes.
