The School
provides a 6 week training programme for private hire drivers.
The programme incorporates a basic topographical knowledge,
customer care, disability awareness and jobsearch. It also
includes assistance with completing and submitting the application
form (if required). The programme is flexible but requires
a reasonable amount of home study/guided fieldwork in addition
to class attendance.
The fee
for this course including training material is £250.00.
In addition you will have to pay the cost of the actual application,
Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure Form and Medical Report.
The training
programme includes introductions to Accountants, vehicle leasing
Companies and Graded Private Hire Companies.
