For personal applications or telephone enquiries you should contact the PCO between the hours of 9am and 3.30pm Monday to Friday.

When making application you will be required to pay a £157.00 fee, produce a full DVLA, Northern Ireland ot EEA state Driving License which you must have held for a minimum of 3 years, a Birth Certificate (which must be in English) otherwise a Passport and in the case of a married woman a Marriage Certificate. Part of the application requires you to provide a Medical Report which must be carried out by your own GP to prove that you are medically fit to hold a licence (fees range from £80 - £120 dependent upon the individual GP’s charges). and you have to arrange and pay for this yourself. You are also required to complete a Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure Form (current fee £34.00) to prove you are of good character.

For those on the Knowledge Point School training programme assistance will be given with completing and submitting the application form (if required).
