Uber Lacking

On March 10th Uber unnerved the Taxi Trade world-wide by announcing a partnership with the United Nations said to create one million jobs for women. However they hadn't allowed for the International Transport Federation who published criticism highlighting the fact that the women would lack job protection, minimum wage or health care which would represent the structural inequality within the labour market that womens movements have been fighting for  decades.

As a result the UN Womens Executive Director cancelled the partnership because of concerns about Uber's failure to protect female drivers and passengers.
